As a custom wood worker, his passion is to create custom tables that are unique and are built so well that they are meant to be passed down.
When the owner reached out for branding, I couldn't wait to get started. We kicked things off by narrowing down his target audience and then building a brand that would speak to that audience.
We then wanted to make sure that the main logo mark felt as timeless and as intentional as his pieces are. Something that spoke to his audience, before words ever did, that these tables were quality and worth the investment in having one built.
What we ended up with was a simple and elegent cursive "L" wrapping around the S & C. This symbolized the legacy that these tables leave behind.
Seeing the logo then made into a brand that the owner burns into every piece was a surreal moment. Seeing how well the logomark fit on these tables that are built to last for generations was satisfying and helped cement that this project accomplished it's goals.
